The Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS) and Education Abroad are partnering with the Office of Research Compliance to host an information session about the OSU framework for academic-related travel to Cuba. The session will provide a comprehensive overview of the opportunities, realistic expectations, and requirements associated with planning travel to the country.
This session is intended for faculty, staff, and students who are interested planning travel to Cuba for 1) education abroad university-approved programs, 2) conducting research, and/or 3) participating in conferences or exchanges. Possible topics of interest may include: how faculty set up university-approved programs for their department; what processes should graduate students follow in order to conduct research in the country; what opportunities are available for students who want to study abroad in Cuba, etc.
