International photography competition now accepting entries
The Office of International Affairs is accepting entries for its annual International Photography Competition where Ohio State faculty, staff, students, visiting scholars and alumni are invited to submit photos taken outside of the United States. All photographs must be the original work of the entrant and of high quality.

This year’s contest is online through our Facebook app. Submit up to three photos in each category: People, Places and Animals. First, second and third place awards will be made for each of the three categories.

The deadline to submit your photo(s) is October 20, 2014 at 4 p.m. All approved photos will be posted to theFacebook app on October 20, 2014 at 5 p.m. to begin the voting phase of the competition. Photos can be voted for once every 24 hours. Online voting will end on November 3, 2014 at 4 p.m. and the top three photos with the highest number of votes will be named the winners.

The Office of International Affairs will select 40 photos based on artistic expression, creativity, originality, photo commentary and the quality of the image to be on display at our photo exhibition in the Ohio Union. Winning the online photography competition does not guarantee that your photo will make it into the exhibition.
