New Haitian Creole Course This Fall

The Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS), in cooperation with the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CLACS) at Indiana University, will begin offering HAITIAN CREOLE this coming AUTUMN 2015. The class will be offered via teleconference at OSU main campus.
 
This course has been designed to support relief workers, physicians, college students, and other volunteers traveling to Haiti by giving them a taste of the language and culture, and easing their efforts to communicate with the victims and residents of Haiti.  The Haitian Creole course provides a significant amount of knowledge on the French-based Creoles spoken in Haiti as well as in the Caribbean.
