For first- and second-year students interested in adding an international component to their studies.

Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity
Research and events (e.g. biannual conferences, film series) on topics of interest to the Latin@/Latin Americanist community.

Minority Scholarship Services
Funding opportunities for Latin@ students.

Office of International Affairs: Study Abroad
Coordinates study abroad for all OSU students.

Office of Minority Affairs
Provides services to Hispanic/Latin@ students.

Wexner Center for the Arts
Frequent exhibitions and events on Latin American culture. Student volunteers may serve as docents.

Hispanic Oversight Community (HOC)
Recruits Hispanic students, works with Office of Minority Affairs and University-Wide Council of Hispanic Organizations to support programs and activities.

Organization of Hispanic Faculty and Staff (OHFS)
Support organization for OSU's Hispanic/Latin@ professionals.

ACADEMIC

Club Hispano

Organization for undergraduate students of Spanish sponsored by the Department of Spanish and Portuguese.

Hispanic Business Student Association (HBSA)
For undergraduates.

Latino Law Student Association (LLSA)
Support organization for Hispanic law students.

Oi Brasil! Portuguese Club
Department of Spanish and Protuguese student organization that promotes Brazilian culture. Informal conversation group (bate-papo) meets weekly at Larry's.

Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE; also known as OSHEA:
Organization of Hispanic Students in Engineering and Architecture) Ohio State's student chapter of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers.

Latin American Native American Medical Association
Support network for Latin@/Latin American and Native American medical students.

Alpha Psi Lambda
Co-ed Latin@ fraternity.

Aprovechando Salud y Educación
Organization of medical and undergraduate students that promotes health awareness in the Latino community.

Club Tropical
Promotes dances of Latin America and the Caribbean.

Canto Latino

Sings and plays Latin@/Latin American music.

College Assistance Migrant Program Alumni Association
The College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) awards scholarships to students from migrant farmworker families for their first year of college. Members of this organization, themselves past recipients of CAMP scholarships, provide support to incoming first-year CAMP students at OSU.

FIAT Club (Fuerza e Integridad a Todos)
Community service-focused student organization for Latino and non-Latino men.

Fisher Latino Graduate Association
Dedicated to increasing the profile and opportunities for Latino students at the Fisher College of Business.

Folclor Hispano
Members of the group learn and present the traditional dances of Latin America.

Hispanic Graduate Student Organization (HGO)

Support organization for Hispanic and Latin American graduate students.

Hispanic Organization for Texas Students (HOTS)

For Hispanic undergraduates, but all are welcome.

Learning Communities and Living Environments: Spanish Language and Culture
Residence hall community for students wishing to live with others who share their interest in the Spanish-speaking world.

Undergraduate service organization.

Sin Inglés Spanish Conversation Club
Weekly meetings at Cazuela's Grill to practice Spanish. For advanced students and heritage and native speakers.

Students for Community Cultural Awareness

Serves as a bridge to immigrant and refugee populations in the local community. Expanding focus from Somalis to Latinos, Chinese, and Russians.

Student National Dental Association
Dedicated to the recruitment and training of dentists from minority groups, especially Latinos and African Americans.

Tango OSU
Instruction at all levels; weekly milonga.

University-Wide Council of Hispanic Organizations (UCHO)

Fosters communication among Hispanic/Latin@-focused organizations.
