James Leow

Graduate Student

Following his graduation from Miami University, James worked briefly with a non-profit law firm, advocating for the rights of migrant farmworkers in Ohio. Following this he taught high school Spanish for a year before enrolling in the Hispanic Linguistics program at OSU. He spent the summer of 2016 conducting ethnographic fieldwork with migrant farmworkers in Ohio as a part of his Master's research, which explores the relationship between language and identity.
