The Ohio State Brazil Gateway hosted two events on the Columbus campus in August, bringing together the Ohio State community around connections with Brazil, research collaboration, and community building. 

“Brazil Social Hour at Ohio State” provided an opportunity for Brazilian Buckeyes to connect, learn more about campus initiatives, and build community. The event was organized in partnership with the Brazilian Student Association (BRASA), with support from the Alumni Club of Brazil. 

“Research Collaborations and Funding Opportunities in Brazil” brought together faculty, scholars, staff, and students interested in expanding their research connections with Brazil. The event highlighted opportunities to strengthen partnerships with Brazilian institutions and explored funding resources available through agencies including FAPESP, CNPq, and CAPES.
