The Summer Seminars Abroad for Spanish Teachers (SSAST) is an annual intensive seminar abroad in Spanish linguistics designed for classroom teachers and other nontraditional students who need compact summer offerings of this nature. Led by Dr. Terrell Morgan, the purpose of the program is to provide participants with an opportunity to analyze and practice the Spanish language in a natural linguistic and cultural context, and to receive graduate university credit for that experience. The seminar takes place during a 2 - 3 week period each summer in diferrent locations in the Spanish speaking world.
