Funding for undergraduate students, graduate/professional students, and faculty members is available from a variety of university sources. The Office of International Affairs, the College of Arts and Sciences, the Graduate School, and specific departments offer scholarships and grants for study or travel, including seed grants for faculty for study abroad, research, and course development. Although CLAS does not currently offer US Department of Education Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowships, OSU students may be eligible to apply for summer fellowships through FLAS-granting centers at other at other US universities. Please contact Megan Hasting (email@example.com) for more information on this option.
Note: While users may view funding search results, we recommend creating a SPIN account to view the full funding opportunities details for users working off campus. See SPIN instructions and contact Margo Nash, firstname.lastname@example.org, in the Office of Research for additional questions and/or assistance. With the renewed emphasis on extramural research funding, researchers may benefit from seeking funding for international research in their respective regions of the world. This effort is supported by the International Affairs Sub-Committee on International Research Development.
