Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Connections

Through extensive professional contacts, a large number of study abroad programs, and many collaborative agreements, OSU has a network of professional and academic linkages throughout Latin America. OIA's faculty grant program, restructured in AY 07-08 and now restricted to area studies faculty and students, can be used to build cooperation with Latin American instutions.

The Center for Latin American Studies is also a member of the Latin American Studies Association, the largest professional association in the world for individuals and institutions engaged in the study of Latin America, the Consortium of Latin American Studies Programs, members of which are primarily post-secondary institutions, and many more.
