Brazilian Rhythms Workshop with Guest Artist Giba Conceiçao
Join us on Monday, September 19th, 5:300-7:300 PM, at the Barnett Center Collaboratory (141 Sullivant Hall) for a Brazilian rhythms workshop with our guest artist Giba.This will be a hands-on workshop focused on learning rhythms and musical culture from Brazil.The workshop will be preceded by a Conversation about Brazilian Art Culture and Political Climate with Giba and two other Brazilian guest artists from Brazil; Luiz Guilherme Pozzi, and Fábio Cury.This event is co-sponsored by the School of Music, the Department of Spanish and Portuguese, and the Center for Latin American Studies. CLAS support to this and other events is made possible through Title VI funding from the US Department of Education.
