In light of the significant activist movements currently taking place in the U.S. and abroad, it is important to think about the relationship between education, study abroad, and becoming critical, thoughtful, and active participants in our society. We will explore the Pachaysana Institute's model of study abroad and its link to social justice and movements for liberation from systemic injustices. This session will include an introduction to the topic followed by a student panel comprised of Pachaysana program alum to discuss their time in Ecuador.
