This semester, CLAS is teaming up with the Spanish Film Club to organize a "Women in Transnational Ibero American Film Festival", sponsored by Pragda, the OSU Dept. of Spanish and Portuguese, the Student Life Multicultural Center, and the OSU Film Studies program.
The Spring 2016 Film Series will include 5 selected films on "Women in transnational Ibero American film." The first film, "Con la pata quebrada" was released in 2013 in Spain by filmmaker Diego Galán. This film is composed of fragments of other films that reflect on how women have been viewed by Spanish cinema since the 30s until today.
