The Center for Latin American Studies is partnering up with the Asociacion de escritores de Ohio and Columbus Metropolitan Library for the 2025 FILCO (Feria Internacional del Libro Columbus, Ohio). This free, family-friendly event will include panels with authors, writing workshops for adults, children book making workshops, book presentations, puppet shows, dance performances from Latin American countries, and book giveaways.
This year's event will feature Renato Cisneros as a special guest. Cisneros (Lima, 1976) is a well-known journalist, broadcaster and writer from Peru now living in Madrid. Having published a number of books of poetry and two novels, in 2015 he stepped back from his media career to fully concentrate on his writing.
The event will take place at the Main Library of Columbus Metropolitan Library at 96 S Grant Ave, Columbus, OH 43215.
