Ernesto Martinez is Associate Professor of Ethnic Studiesand Women's & Gender Studies at the University of Oregon and author of On Making Sense: Queer Race Narratives of Intelligibility(Stanford University Press, 2012) and co-editor of Gay Latino Studies: A Critical Reader.

Priscilla Ovalle is an Associate Professor of English at the University of Oregon and author of  Dance and the Hollywood Latina: Race, Sex, and Stardom
