Latin American Film Series: La Nana
DescriptionThe Fall 2015 Latin American Film Series will include 6 selected films on "Spatial Dystopia in Neoliberal Latin America". The film, "La Nana" was released in 2009 in Chile, by filmmaker Sebastian Silva. In the film, a maid tries to hold on to her position after having served a family for 23 years. La Nana received its American premiere at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival. In conjunction with Columbus State Community College's Department of Global Diversity, this film will also be shown at CSCC on Wednesday, Nov. 18 in room DE 121 from 3:00 – 4:30 p.m.
