Ohio Latin Americanist Conference (OLAC)
The 19th Annual Ohio Latin Americanist Conference will be held February 24-25, 2023 at Ohio University (Athens, OH).
Proposals are now being accepted, through Friday, December 9, 2022!ALL Latin Americanists and Latinx Studies scholars, educators, and students from institutions of higher education are invited to participate in OLAC.OLAC is a highly interdisciplinary conference, and Latin American/Latinx research from any field is welcome!Special panels will be held for creative writing and translation, and for high school teachers.First-time conference presenters may opt for a shorter, 10-minute mini-presentation if they prefer.This year, OLAC will feature poster presentations as well!OLAC will be held in-person, with the option of presenting (but not attending) virtually.View the OLAC website for more details.
