Bolivian rapper, Ukamau y ké (Abraham Bojórquez), forms an important part of the unfolding of the local and international hip hop movement. He was an activist and a pioneer for hip hop in Aymara. He died unexpectedly at the peak of his musical career. Years later, his friend, Ecuadorian rapper and director, Andrés Ramírez, returns to Bolivia to uncover the reasons for his death. In this journey, Ukamau y ké comes back to life through archival material and contemporary interviews.

This documentary screening will be in the presence of the director, with a Q&A afterwards. The documentary will be in Spanish with English subtitles. Light refreshments will be served.
