The humanitarian whistle-stop tour, Water for The Americas will be at Ohio State on Tuesday (2/11) with a rally and speakers to raise awareness of the global water crisis. Six OSU faculty will give TEDx-style talks on topics ranging from water-oriented social entrepreneurship to the historical roots of the water crisis. A full day of events starts at the 4-H building and moves to the Ohio Union.
The day's festivities will include keynote speakers with perspectives on water sustainability, as well as the opportunity to sign the group's signature van. The van was purchased with crowd-sourced funds and serves as a symbol of all of the people who are committed to water as a basic human right.
