The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA) have signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) aimed at strengthening academic collaboration and expanding international opportunities for students, faculty, and researchers. 

The partnership creates opportunities for qualified UFLA students to pursue graduate legal studies at Ohio State Moritz and encourages academic exchange between the two institutions. It also supports collaborative research initiatives, visiting scholar opportunities, and other forms of academic collaboration. 

In addition, the agreement provides opportunities for UFLA students to participate in Ohio State Moritz’s Foundations of U.S. Law Summer Program, offering an introduction to the American legal system and an international academic experience. 

By formalizing this partnership, Ohio State Moritz and UFLA reaffirm their shared commitment to academic excellence, global engagement, and international cooperation in higher education.
