Michael Bustamante

Outreach Coordinator

Before joining the Center for Latin American Studies, Michael coordinated the Marshall Scholarship program at the British Consulate-General in Houston, as well as held positions at Rice University, Texas A&M International University, and the University of Houston-Downtown. Beyond his professional experience, Michael studied intercultural communication in Costa Rica, presented at the Harvard World Model United Nations Conference in Holland, secured alternate status for a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship in Portugal, and awarded a Saudi Arabian Exchange Fellowship sponsored by the National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations.
