
Keynote Speaker
Jacque Van Houten has a BA and MAT from The University of Louisville, an MA in French from the University of Cincinnati and a PhD in Educational Leadership from Miami University. She has taught elementary school through graduate classes in Kentucky and Ohio. For the past 14 years she was World Language consultant at the Kentucky Department of Education and recently took over as district WL specialist in Louisville, KY. She has served as president of the National Council of State Supervisors (NCSSFL), National Network for Early Language Learners (NNELL) and is currently president-elect of ACTFL, which honored her with her the Steiner Award for Leadership in K12 Education.
