No es difícil deducir de ese dato que la sobrepoblación y el hacinamiento, tan comunes en las cárceles latinoamericanas, llegan allí a niveles atroces. Pero una cosa es deducirlo y otra observarlo desde dentro. Ramón, un preso por narcotráfico que se disfraza de payaso para los niños de la cárcel. Sergio, un pandillero acusado de doble homicidio que espera su juicio mientras hace tatuajes, vende droga y graba un disco de hip hop. Guery, un ladrón que sólo quiere salir de San Antonio para volver a robar. Historias de vida como tantas otras, que dejan ver muchas de las complejidades, contradicciones y deudas de las sociedades latinoamericanas.The penitentiary of San Antonio, in Cochabamba, is the smallest jail in Bolivia. From that fact, it's not difficult to imagine that overpopulation and overcrowding, so common in Latin American jails, reach atrocious levels. But imagining it is one thing and observing it from the inside is another. Ramón, imprisoned for drug trafficking, dresses up as a clown for the children of the jail. Sergio, a gang member accused of double homicide who awaits his trial while he does tattoos, sells drugs and records a hip hop album. Guery is a thief who just wants out of San Antonio so he can go back to stealing. Life stories like so many others, that allow us to see many of the complexities, contradictions, and debts of Latin American societies. Meet the Director:   Álvaro Olmos (Matrimonio Aymara, Diario de Piratas) is a director, screenwriter, and producer. He has received awards in the United States and Belgium and was a prize winner for the project Three Days After Sunday.    In-person screening: Gateway Film Center. El penal de San Antonio, en Cochabamba, es la cárcel más pequeña de Bolivia. No es difícil deducir de ese dato que la sobrepoblación y el hacinamiento, tan comunes en las cárceles latinoamericanas, llegan allí a niveles atroces. Pero una cosa es deducirlo y otra observarlo desde dentro. Ramón, un preso por narcotráfico que se disfraza de payaso para los niños de la cárcel. He has received awards in the United States and Belgium and was a prize winner for the project Three Days After Sunday
