This new May session study abroad program, open to all majors, examines the Economics of Immigration in the U.S. and Mexico. The course will take place on campus for three weeks and one week will be spent in Tijuana, Mexico where students will help build houses, hear the stories of people in transition and gain a better understanding of economic choices being faced by individuals, households, communities and nations. Tijuana is a city of immigrants from all over Mexico and other parts of Latin America. Students will have many opportunities to view immigration issues from various perspectives and apply economic principles to the activities included. For more information please email Jeannie Simmons.
