This lecture is the tenth installment of the Afro-Brazilian Arts and Activism Lecture Series by CLAS. The event is FREE and open to the public!   Join us for  conversation coordinated by Javier Escudero (Brazil Cultural director), and introduced by Christian Nunes (Former Intern at Tamar Project), with Victoria Lane Silva (Instituto Cultural Steve Biko); Kayanara Leeb (Cultural Space Pierre Verger); Ricardo Santos (Instituto Quilombo Ilha); and Anatelson das Neves (Quilombo do Tereré/translated by Alex Alberto, Biko). Their collaboration with several international exchange initiatives has brought new educational and professional opportunities for all participants. One of our topics will be on how to create enriching academic and social activities in collaboration with international and local organizations, while fostering an ethical, academic, and business relationship that is beneficial for all participants.
