Participants must watch the event recording (if unable to attend event in-person). 

The "K-12 educator session: Reflection and workshop for 'Racial Discourses on U.S.-Mexico Border Region Indigenous Identities and Rights' " consists of two hours. From 5-6pm, educators will talk through the ideas from the event recording. From 6-7pm, educators will brainstorm and workshop ideas of how to use this content in the K-12 classroom. Participants will receive a  CEU/contact hour letter for .3 CEUS/3 contact hours. Must be present for entire two hour session to receive CEU/contact hour letter. 

This session will be led by Patricia Vocal, Outreach Coordinator for the Center for Latin American Studies at The Ohio State University.
