Join the Center for Latin American Studies for a virtual panel on Latin America Antarctic history and politics. The workshop aims to investigate, from a historical, political and legal perspective, several key issues relating to the period between the end of the Second World War and the signing of the Antarctic Treaty, with a particular focus on Argentina and Chile. The event will feature young and senior researchers from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Uruguay as speakers. You can find the abstract for the presentations at the bottom of this page.

The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. Please note that some of the talks might be in Spanish
