Join the Center for Latin American Studies, Columbus State Community College, The City University of New York, and the Spanish and Portuguese Club for the fourth screening of the 2024 Latin American Film Festival. This year's theme is Liberation.
The fourth film, On the Roof (El Techo; Cuba, 2017), is a romantic comedy which also tackles problems facing contemporary Cuban youth. In this production, a flat rooftop in an old Havana neighborhood is the natural habitat for three friends who spend their days and nights dreaming about the future. Register to stream the film from September 25 through October 2.
