What FL Teachers Think, Know, Believe, and Do Related to Student Assessment
Presenter: Carolyn Shemwell Kaplan, The Ohio State University

Researchers have acknowledged a need for increased study of FL teachers' thinking and practices related to student assessment (Davison, 2004; Yin, 2010). This session reports preliminary findings from research examining what four Ohio FL teachers from distinct high schools think, know, believe, and do when assessing their students. Session attendees will learn how these teachers are addressing the "changing times" in their assessment practices.
