Dr. Jay Martin, Associate Professor in the Department of Food, Agricultural and Biological Engineering (FABE) at Ohio State, is an ecological engineer with expertise in both hydrology and ecosystem modeling. His research focuses on interactions between watersheds and downstream ecosystems. Prior to this project investigating connections between water quality in Maumee Bay and the upstream watershed, he completed similar projects in the Sandusky Watershed and Mississippi Delta/Gulf of Mexico. His other areas of research include natural systems for water treatment, small-scale bioenergy production and analyzing ecosystem sustainability.
