Patrick Sours earned a B.S. in civil engineering with a minor in Humanitarian Engineering and the Global Option Distinction from at The Ohio State University. Patrick then obtained his M.S. from the Department of Food, Agricultural and Biological Engineering. Patrick is appointed as a senior lecturer in the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geodetic Engineering, where he instructs the following courses: Global CapstoneSustainable WaSH Infrastructure for Developing Rural Communitiesand Community Engaged Learning Courses in Honduras, Tanzania, and Ghana. His current research efforts are focused on Sustainable Development Engineering with partuclar emphasis on low energy input passive gravity water treatment systems. Patrick has extensive field work in international development, in particular, working with rural communities on construction and optimization of water storage. Patrick has worked on a variety of projects in Tanzania, Ghana, Guatemala, Honduras, and India.
