Tulane University looking for Latin American scholar

International Affairs globe.

Dear colleagues,

The Stone Center is conducting a search for a mid-career scholar of Latin American Arts, Humanities, and/or Cultural Studies to spend one or two semesters at Tulane in AY 2015-2016 as a Greenleaf Scholar-in-Residence. As chair of the search committee, I write to share the attached description of the visiting professorship and application procedures.

The ideal candidate will have Associate Professor status, an active interdisciplinary research agenda, and a distinguished publication and teaching record. Scholars studying the politics of contemporary Latin American theater, performance, or media and/or gender and sexuality studies are especially encouraged to apply.

Many thanks in advance for sending the announcement to suitable colleagues in your respective fields, and feel free to contact me if you have questions of any kind. We will begin a review of applications on March 15.

Sincerely,

John Charles
