As part of the Spanish and Portuguese Literatures & Cultures Colloquium, Ecuadorian filmmaker, rapper, and photographer, Andrés Ramírez, will share his research on organizational experiences of the hip hop revolution in the city of Quito. The talk will include reflections on the pioneering work of Bolivian rapper and activist, Ukamau y ké, and Aymara hip hop, insurgency through language, and other topics.
