Join the Center for Latin American Studies and the Upper Arlington Public Library for a Capoeira family class. Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian art form that combines movement, music, martial arts, and popular history from Brazil.

No previous experience is required and the class is open for all ages!

What to wear: Please wear comfortable clothes to move in.

Footwear: Sneakers (note: Although Capoeira is often performed barefoot, shoes are required in the library.)

The capoeira class will be preceded by the Stories & More section. That day's topic will also be related to capoeira and Brazilian culture!
