Join the Center for Latin American Studies and the Tuttle Park Community Center, for a Capoeira workshop with Capoeira Mestre Lobinho, from the Capoeira Mangalot group.

The workshop is free and open to the public. Additionally, the workshop will be followed by an open Capoeira Roda (circle).

Recommended attire

Make sure you wear comfortable clothes and sneakers. You are also welcome to be barefoot; socks are not recommended for this workshop.

Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian art form combining elements of body movement, martial arts, music, tradition, and popular culture.
