This semester, CLAS is teaming up with the Spanish Film Club to organize a "Women in Transnational Ibero American Film Festival", sponsored by Pragda, the OSU Dept. of Spanish and Portuguese, the Student Life Multicultural Center, and the OSU Film Studies program.
 
The Spring 2016 Film Series will include 5 selected films on "Women in transnational Ibero American film." The final film, "Después de Lucía" was released in 2012 in Cannes, France by filmmaker Michel Franco. In the film, Alejandra and her father Roberto have just moved to town. She is the new girl at school and he has a new job. Starting over is sometimes complicated when you have left so much behind. There will also be a Skype Q&A Session with the director, Michel Franco.
