CLAS is pleased to announce an additional Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) fellowship competition for the Academic Year 2024-2025.

In addition to supporting undergraduate students in Intermediate and Advanced Portuguese, Quechua, and Haitian Creole and graduate students at all levels of these languages, this competition will also accept applications for:

• Beginning Portuguese, Quechua, and Haitian Creole at the undergraduate level;
• Advanced Spanish at the graduate/professional level;
• Dissertation research abroad (in Latin America); and
• Dissertation writing at home about Latin America.

Applications are due Saturday, June 15, 2024.
