While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

CLAS Film Collection Transfer

Red buckeye leaf.

The Center for Latin American Studies film collection has been transferred to University Libraries following the Center’s relocation to Enarson Classroom Building. Faculty and students can now access and check out films through University Libraries. Below we have enclosed directions on how to search for films using the library catalog.

To search for a film, please visit the library’s catalog webpage at library.osu.edu. Faculty, students and staff are recommended to contact their area studies librarian if they are unable to locate a film.

Using the Books and More tab, search for films by title.

Library website's search page.

Alternative Search Option:

Through the library’s advance search option (http://library.ohio-state.edu/search/X), keyword search by the Center’s name (i.e. “Center for Latin American Studies”) and limit by format to browse a listing of available films. Please note however, that this search query may list other non-film associated materials and will not include a comprehensive list. For help, please contact your area studies librarian.

In addition, we have listed other library available film and streaming databases:
