The International and Foreign Language Education office of the U.S. Department of Education is excited to announce the launch of the FY 2024 Fulbright-Hays Seminars Abroad (SA) program competition. The SA program provides short-term study abroad opportunities for groups of U.S. educators in the arts, social sciences, and humanities for the purpose of improving their understanding and knowledge of the peoples and cultures of other countries. Successful applicants will have their in-country expenses paid by the program, including air transport, meals, and accommodation. This summer, the SA program will feature three seminars: Finland for K-8 educators, Thailand for grades 9-12 educators, and Colombia for postsecondary educators and administrators. The application deadline is January 4, 2024.
