Alexa Civittolo is a 2021-2022 graduate FLAS fellow studying Portuguese.

"Learning Portuguese is a great complement to my existing Spanish-speaking abilities. Additionally, with the size and growing influence of both Portugal and Brazil, is a great way to connect with native speakers in a personal and professional manner.

My future career plans are to work at a law firm with global capabilities, where I can put my language skills and OSU education to good use, and make a difference in my clients’ lives and businesses."
