Sophia Lenhart is a 2022-2023 undergraduate FLAS fellow studying Portuguese. Sophia was also a FLAS fellow in Academic Year 2021-22. 

"I was an exchange student in Brazil twice, once in high school and once to study at Unicamp. I fell in love with the country, language, and culture, and when I got back home to OSU, I decided to make Portuguese my major.

I plan to go to law school after finishing my undergrad, and focusing on immigration law. I want to help shape federal policy on immigration, so that we have a faster, kinder, and more effective immigration policy that emphasizes human rights and the real people involved."
