It's a Wrap!: 2019 Brazilian Film Series

Last month, the Center for Latin American Studies successfully completed the 2019 Brazilian Film Series, five weeks of movie screenings supported by a Spanish Film Club grant. Beginning in March and ending on Earth Day, the film series explored cultural, social, and environmental issues affecting the Portuguese-speaking world. Each of the five film screenings, detailed below, began with a brief informative introduction and concluded with a guided discussion and debate on movie themes and overarching regional concerns.
