Nicaragua Study Abroad Workshop for K12 Spanish Teachers

Spend 15 days in Granada, Nicaragua where you will participate in advanced conversational Spanish classes taught by native speaking professionals in the mornings. In the afternoons you will have the opportunity to volunteer and assist Nicaraguan teachers in local partner schools. Participants will stay with host families to increase their knowledge of the language and culture. Participants will be awarded six CEUs upon successful comple-tion of the program.

The program fee is $2500 and includes the six CEUs, a homestay with a local Nicaraguan family, advanced conversation classes with native speaking professionals, a service-learning opportunity in local schools, several excursions, and all in-country transportation.  Additional costs include airfare and personal spending money.
