Dr. Hans Klompen is a Professor of Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology. His research interests include systematics and evolution of mites, parasitiforms, and diversity of soil mesostigmata in Southern Mexico and Belize. He has conducted fieldwork in Mexico, Panama, Colombia, French Guyana, and Brazil.
