Anaís D. Roque Antonetty is an assistant professor of Anthropology at The Ohio State University. Her broad research interests include household food, energy and water security, community health as well as community and governmental strategies for disaster resilience centering social and environmental justice. Before pursuing higher education, Anaís worked with HUD in Puerto Rico developing strategies to assist residents in the job market as well as developing community driven initiatives. In addition, she was a shelter administrator in the aftermath of Hurricane María (2017).
