The Center for Latin American Studies and the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at The Ohio State University, along with Columbus State Community College, are excited to announce the virtual substitute for our Intensive Portuguese Abroad for Spanish Teachers (IPAST), a program in Portuguese language and linguistics. The program typically takes place in Curitiba, capital of the state of Paraná, in southern Brazil, however, due to the unprecedented challenges surrounding COVID-19, we have developed a virtual program to take its place this summer. This program was organized by Scott Schwenter and Michele Saraiva Carilo.
