Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. Pamela Espinosa de los Monteros

Pamela Espinosa de los Monteros, Latin American Studies librarian at Ohio State Libraries, was recently named one of the 2021 class of Columbus Business First’s 40 Under 40. The Columbus Business First’s 40 Under 40 recognizes our region’s “best and brightest young community leaders.” Pamela was selected for this award out of a record number of 253 nominations in 2021. The 29th annual 40 Under 40 event will be held as a virtual awards presentation on May 27. The 2021 Class will also be showcased in the May 28 issue of Columbus Business First.

 

Pamela Espinosa de los Monteros

Pamela Espinosa de los Monteros is the Latin American Studies librarian and an assistant professor at The Ohio State University. Espinosa de los Monteros provides reference and research consultations on Spanish, Portuguese, Latin American Studies, and international resources for students, faculty, staff, visiting scholars, and the public. She is library liaison to the Department of the Spanish and Portuguese, Center for Latin American Studies, and the Latino/a Studies Program and works with other departments and divisions on interdisciplinary efforts. She has also been a great resource to our center in helping put together our BookBox program.
